Nearly 9 in 10 U.S. adults say they feel financial pressure during the holidays – a season meant for joy, not anxiety.

This year, Kiehl’s is putting humanity back at the center of the holiday experience as they celebrate “spreading joy since 1851″ through a coast-to-coast series of out-of-home activations designed to offer micro-moments of delight – or ‘glimmers’ – to the communities that helped build the brand.

The Artistic Gift to the Neighborhood

Kiehl’s has tapped Lady Pink (77K Followers) and Tristan Eaton (239K Followers) – two street art icons with deep NYC and LA roots – to transform its Hell’s Kitchen and Santa Monica storefronts into joy-filled public art spaces, unveiling the partnership across two sub-phases:

●     Phase 1: Content creators rooted in contemporary art and street culture will decode the details of the storefront takeovers, connecting the dots between the art and the artists, generating speculation and social conversation.

●     Phase 2: In the days following, Kiehl’s, Lady Pink and Tristan will announce the strategic partnership, with the artists claiming ownership and validating Kiehl’s presence in culture, amplifying the collaboration across their communities.

Both artists will also create in-store murals using Kiehl’s products as their canvas, offering consumers the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind, collectible art pieces this season.

Out-of-Home Surprise & Delight

Building on the campaign’s spirit of generosity and unexpected joy, Kiehl’s will bring moments of surprise and connection to consumers in the places they least expect — from morning commutes to weekend dining — transforming everyday experiences into festive celebrations of gratitude.

●     Limited-Edition MetroCards: As the iconic MetroCard makes its exit at the end of this year, Kiehl’s will distribute exclusive, pre-loaded, limited-edition MetroCards across NYC (2,600 free rides) — offering commuters transportation ease and a complimentary Duo for the Hydration Gift Set as a simple gesture of gratitude.

○     The distribution of the limited-edition MetroCards will be amplified with routines by street performers at Grand Central Station, providing passersby with an additional moment of levity during their commute.

●     Restaurant Tab Takeovers: On November 13, Kiehl’s will surprise 50 guests dining at Little Ruby’s (NYC – West Village) and Elephante (LA) with a complimentary meal and Hydration 2 the Max Gift Set.
